Snow capped peaks and blue skies

Tue 9 June

After a long rolly night we awoke to our first sight of Iceland on the port side of the ship. There was the slightest hint of blue sky behind the clouds and as we approached the fjord leading to Seydisfjordur the sun came out and the clouds cleared to reveal blue skys. On each side of the fjord the peaks were still covered with snow. We could not have asked for a more magnificent arrival made even more enjoyable when after being amongst the first campervans to disembark we were whisked through Custom/Security without even a look at our passports or request for our completed vehicle import forms
