Camino de Santiago via The English Way (almost)

12th June 2017

There are many different pilgrim routes to Santiago de Compostela besides the original way of St James across northern Spain. The route from A Coruna is called The English Way and this is the way we decided to undertake our journey. Pilgrims have traditionally travelled by foot or even by horse. I wonder if our modern day team of 177 in harness under the bonnet of our Murvi are an acceptable substitute.
Sadly restoration work obscured some of the cathedral but it was interesting watching some of the true pilgrims make their entrance to the square.
