A 19th century fisherman’s hut and ‘nousts’ or ‘noasts’, the deep grooves in the ground that the fisherman drew their boats into for the protection.
From nearby there were also good views to the Brough of Birsay and its lighthouse. Sadly on a rising tide it was not feasible to cross the causeway to get closer.
