Crossed the first of the Churchill Barriers to visit to the Italian Chapel. Since our first visit six years ago staff have been introduced to regulate an increasing number of visitors and keep watch over the chapel itself.

      Such a beautiful chapel in glorious weather. This chapel is a work of art in itself, a flavour of Italy in the heart of The Isles xxxx

    I understand this Italian Church was helpful for the Italian prisoners-of-war who built the Churchill Barriers in 1940-1944…
