A challenging coastal walk to the Hams, a series of bays or havens with red sand beaches and red cliffs. Just behind the northernmost ham are the ruins of Ham Mill. The return leg along a 4×4 track was a welcome change from the rough ground and constant buffing of the strong onshore wind that bought the occasional shower.

A magnificent walk I should think, and a welcome walk back on a track. Well done you two. Photos are excellent.

It’s wonderful to sit here at home and see all the wonderful photos and yet not feel the wind and rain on our faces – we’re not even breathless after all the walking either!!! You are spoiling us all! Lol Val and David xx

Great images of what looks very tranquil conditions but then we watchers can’t know about the wind!
