An interesting two hour underground tour of an ancient salt mine now an UNESCO World Heritage Site before a returning to Krakow for lunch and then a coffee people watching in the Main Market Square which turned out to be more interesting than expected as the local Fire Brigade were celebrating with a parade.
We are aiming to spend a few days visiting the many sights in the area. Today we visited the central market square and organised some tours for the next couple of days before visiting St Mary’s, climbing the higher tower for a view over the city and then visiting the castle.
